Green Beans with Bacon and Almonds:
From the store fresh green beans, some bacon, choose bacon that is cheaper, and some sliced almonds.
Usually found in the bakery section of the store. We do not want those salted, “Mr. Planters” ones.
Cook the bacon as you would for a breakfast. We want that grease/fat they are releasing.
Cut off the tips of each side of the green beans and steam them.
Warm the bacon grease back up a little. Everything is pre-cooked so we just want this warmed and combined. Add the green beans and top with your almonds and bacon. Stir and serve.
