Apple, Nut, Raisin Surprise:
From the Store: Apples preferably a pippin or granny smith. The green ones have just a little more of a bitter taste that we want in this. Buy any favorite nut (preferably walnuts), a box of raisins and some cool whip.
Dice the apples and add to a bowl, add the nuts, raisins, and the entire container of cool whip. Oh heck if you got them add tiny marsh mellows. Stir a bit and stick in the refrigerator. Poof dessert is done.
Original Recipe Idea: This was a family favorite actually served as a side on Thanksgiving, but I think it makes a better dessert.
I Scream for Ice Cream:
The simplest dessert of them all and you rarely have to do anything with it except remove from the freezer for about 10 minutes before trying to scoop it out. Everyone enjoys Ice cream.
