New in bowling !!!! mikey444u     5/18/2006 15:46

Hello All

Lague Admin and Staff here wish to thank all you players who are flooding into bowlp, and making it a great place to host tourneys and play in. We wish to clarify and update you all on some changes we have made.

For a complete look at our Help Topic click here. The main changes are as follows....

Players will be limited to playing in 2 tournaments at the same time in bowlp players attempting to play in 3 will be asked to withdraw if possible, or to report loss in one. Failing this, they will be DQed from the 3rd tournament.

Rarely will this situation arise at present, but this does confirm that playing in 2 at once is perfectly fine, with your game score counting against both opponents.

TDs will close and start the tournament around or after Frame 10, and as close after Start time as possible

This allows players the maximum time possible to register, but please load room prior to regestering if it is after Start time - otherwise you may miss the first few Frames.

As with all RR matches, in bowlp losing players must record loss in EM, e.g. lost m1. In the eventuality of tied matches in RRs, unless in Match 3, then players will replay match against their opponent, and also play in the following match simultaneously. For example, balouza ties with mikey444u in Match 2, then both balouza and mikey444u will play each other again, and also against their Match 3 opponents.

In the event RR is tied after Round 1, with a 2-player tie, players will compete as normal. With a 3-player tie, all 3 players will play 1 game to decide the outcome:

If the game outcome is a different score for each player, the lower score player will report to the higher score player(s).

If there is a tie for 1st, the lowest scoring player should report 2 losses to EM, and the top 2 play again for win.

If tie for 2nd, each player should report loss to EM to the top player, and could either play for the match win, or accept a loss by reporting this to EM.

This will help progress RRs much more quickly, with little or no waiting around. Especially in 3 way ties in RRs here, we think this will add an exciting edge to the play-offs.

We hope all these changes will improve your enjoyment of bowling here, however, we are always open to suggestion.

I hope you all continue to enjoy bowling here, and will see you all on those lanes, hopefully Striking away !!!

Mikey, HA
