Since becoming a TD in bowlp last June I have seen many many tourneys run with no problems requiring a rematch fix-it-all scenario.
On the other hand, I have hosted and have had some scenario's where internet problems, pogo acting up, computer java problems, or the pogo boot out suddenly "during" a tourney before the 4th frame as having the "rematch" come across as a solution.
If you are a player and you are not in the lobby 10 minutes prior to the start time of tourney then you have already lost the chance at a rematch.
The rules are when you sign up for the tourney, take a few minutes and read those rules carefully. Make sure you are ready to bowl and if a problem does arise because of internet problems, pogo boot, java issues it is entirely up to your opponent to agree or disagree to the "rematch", the TD has the right to not allow a rematch if it is a time consuming issue.
SR, DE and RR's should automatically be offered the rematch without hesitation because of how long the tourney is to begin with and the large amount of yeps bet.
The tournies run 11 minutes long for a tourney every 15 minutes format. Not alot of leeway there. So, making a "rematch" a rule that specify's who can or can't rematch is based on time, if tourney has only reached 4th frame then problem happens, that is a rematch possible. Beyond 4th frame just does not stand a chance.
Puting anything into Help Topics is not the HA/AA, Corporate and League are the people who need to be reached with a request. Post it in General Club and see what kind of answer you get there.
Only 2 T's at a time. There never was a 3 T's at same time rule, it was just a test of "can we?", "will it?", "do you think it will be a good thing?" idea....and we tested it and Corporate has not yet decided on that lame turkey's leg.
I don't think new players look at help topics as much as you may seem to think so, they do not get advertised in any spams by us. Maybe if we did a Help Topics spam every once in awhile that would/could change the way our new and old members understand the game. For better or worse, I think it's a matter of one's self betterment to read the Help Topics but not live or bowlp by them.
Thats my 2 yeps worth.
