Hmmmm... OK... I will try to explain here. Maybe you will actually read and maybe understand because you have read it. Pay close attention to the underlined part please. And this is how it is ALL throughout ELITERS, not just Hearty!

Answer to question #1:
When a Sub has been seated s/he continues the match from wherever it was left off.
If the Sub (or Sub's team) loses the match, the Sub is never officially entered in the Tourney by the TD and the loss will be charged to the original player/team. At no time will the original Player be refunded their entry fee. The intention of the rule is simple: We don't want the Sub to bear the burden of being charged with a loss when s/he entered a match in a hopeless position. And this is frequently when you need a Sub, if a player has left in anger or disgust.

If the Sub (or Sub's team) wins, the TD will officially enter the Sub on the tourney page before reporting the match, and from this point on all tourney stats, including Matches Win/Loss, Tourney Played/Victory, and YEPs won, will be recorded for the "new" player or team of original remaining Player and the Sub.

Answer to question #2:
Because our format in Hearty is a 1x3 players... each being SINGLE players. To be able to Q6, the format has to be 2x2... or TEAMS. For right now, no programming is available for the single player format. Hopefully, this will change, as it would be beneficial to us with the 1x3 format too!

Hope this has answered UR questions Above!
Happy Playing!
LadyD
Hearty HA
