this is the rule for the crossing partners

The 4 Players (2 Teams) sit at the same table. Partners should sit opposite to each other.
If one of the players wins the game the Team advances, and the Losing Team Captain reports to tourney page.
Tourneys could be played only as single Elimination (SE).

this is the rule for stardard partners

In Card Games and Dominoes, the TD will add the final score, at both tables, for each team. The team with the highest cumulative score wins the match.

my question is on the conflicting rule where the losing team can have the winning player and still lose just asking for clarification and that reply did not help but ty for trying
