In keeping with the defensive play theme this month, our Tip of the Week is "If you can't use it, block it!"
Have you ever had an opponent open a 3W that you have been unable to use because of the letters on your rack? I'm sure most all of us have had this happen more than once. If you are unable to create a word to take advantage of this opening, by all means try to block your opponent from using it. It almost always better to take a smaller score for one turn than to leave this 3W open for your opponent's use.
