Lynne, my heartfelt sympathies go out to you on the loss of your beloved Joe.
You always told me that Joe was the 'love of your life', and I know for certain that he felt the same about you.
I had the priviledge of speaking to Joe on the phone about a year ago.
I recall the conversation with him very well. I had to convince him that we eliters are 'real' players (he thought for the longest time that you were talking and hosting to robots).
We had a wonderful chat, I could see what a kind and gentleman he was. It was obvious how deeply he loved and cared for you.
I hope that you find comfort in your time of need with the following prayer:
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
