I am rarely able to get my EDS matches in and am one of those that posts 22:00 - 01:00 every night. Why do I do this? Is it because I want to make it tough on the other players? Is it because I want free wins? If you ask the DPAs involved in the leagues that I get in from time to time, you will see the answer is no. I get in them to try to help support.
I typically intend on playing every match, but most times it just doesn't work...but without me in, sometimes these EDS's won't go. I am not suggesting donate or vacation every time as that sort of skews the results, but everyone also needs to look at the OTHER side of that coin also...
I work anywhere between 60-80 hours per week, sleep a mere 35-45 hours per week Usually have an hour a day for getting ready for work or getting ready for church or bed, etc...so another 7 hours. Then, I am an HA in a league - theres another typical 15-20 hours per week. And fortunately I have been in the Events Director position for long enough that this position is mostly "robotic" and only takes about 5-7 hours per week. So I am up to 122-159 hours out of 168 available. Where do the other 9-46 hours go? Well, during the season, I have 4-5 hours per week of yardwork, I preach at least one Sunday per month (4 hours prep time, 3 hours at church on those weeks), I attend church at least 2 times per week for a total of 3-4 more hours per week, then I play a couple of games in Eliters, lol.
I am not bashing you Becca, just reminding you that we all have life outside of Eliters (and some have a lot of time to put into Eliters as well as a player, TD, Admin or Staff). Those may be the only hours that some people have available, yet again, I get a lot of my matches played, just not all of them.
