also, im in UK, I am often up at 100 est, looking for a tourney to play in, and at night 1800 is only 11pm here, sometime i get home from 3-11pm shift, and play before going bed.
The point I am making, is its not about where people live, its number of people people who at any given time, would be about to play.
Site stats point towards activity overall, not number of people (most have paid membership of the site), and the trend from what I see, is people might only come and play a few in daytime, but in actuel numbers of members avaliable to play, there is not a lot between day and night, when you consider that some of the people very active at night, are also active in the daytime.
Also, the TOCs are to close to each other as it is, leagues with activity in afternoons, should alternate times of events, and there should be listing rules so that leagues who plan and list a TOC, are not close to the time, in a position where another league on the same playsite has listed last min 15 min before them, and another 15 min after them. With Pogo stops people playing in all, and in Yahoo can cause slow play, what can then mean that there opp might not be done in time, to play in another they want to be in.
