Hi Crispy,

Help section 2231 somewhat addresses the scenario whereby a player has lost the first 2 games of an RR tourney, and wants to concede the 3rd game.

It reads as follows:

Please note that although you may have played 2 games and lost 2, (thus meaning you cannot win the Tournament) the only situation where you will be allowed to concede defeat in the final game will be where the outcome of your 3rd game will not affect the outcome of the Tourney.

I agree that if the player isn't prepared to play all 3 rounds (and potentially more rounds if tied after 3 rounds), they shouldn't join RR tourneys.

There are times that we simply cannot finish a tourney due to an unforeseen circumstance (for eg, lost internet connection), but for players who habitually choose not to finish tourneys should be noted by the hosting TD.
