Re: Changes to the Time Out Clock crispy1007      8/3/2011 00:40

I know you all are waiting for me to reply... lol

I almost like it completely, ALMOST!!

Has there been thought given to applying the 5 minutes to the tourney start only? and keeping the frozen/booted player incidents at 10 minutes?
What I mean is, if a player is in the tourney already playing, and they freeze up, and they then have to reboot there is a very good chance that it is going to take about 6 or 7 minutes by the time they realize it is them that froze and they reboot their system. In such cases 5 minutes is not nearly enough.
I see that TD discretion is an option, but sadly more often than not favoritism plays a part.

The clock may be relaxed in the finals of the Tourney, at the TD's discretion.

The TD may, at his/her own discretion, relax the Time Out clock in case there are Play Site Problems.

The TD keeps the time based on the Eliters Messenger posting, and his/her decision is final.
