Speaking simply as an eliters member, I think many people are completely missing the point here....
Guest Members may now play for an indefinate period of time, yeps allowing, and a premium member may assist them by refilling their yeps with what is sufficient to play in a further 20+ guest tourneys.
Why is this a good thing?...Because that guest will have even more of an opportunity, under the same name, to get to know our members better and vice versa, to become more aware of the multitude of other tourney types/leagues/events there are in eliters, and greatly increase their desire to purchase a premium membership, in $$$'s. I believe playing in eliters is the best advertisement we can give anyone.
"...Surley allowing premium refills would save IDs being created by premium with under 50 yeps, freeing up system resorces..."
Actually, I feel that premium members are premium members because they wish to participate fully in all available tourneys, should they so desire, not be limited to 25 yep entry, aside from all the additional benefits premium members enjoy.
Now, why shouldn't yep rich premium members be allowed to subsidise other poorer members? I'm not even going to try and explain the economy in eliters, or pretend I understand it, lol; What I will say is I doubt very much that the server providers, banking costs, and goodness knows who else will take yeps in payment of services, lol, they need to be paid in $$$s.
Personally, one of the most exciting developements I have witnessed as a member, was the introduction of cash tournies.I felt then, and still do, that this is a much underrated marketting tool for TDs to use, and I have personally lured more than 1 monkey (TDs no less, hehe) in signing up for eliters while I hosted sharing with them.
With the re-introduction of the fabulous $$$ prizes for the ELIC, I for one, hope this can kick start more yeps to cash tournies for those yep rich members to invest in ;-)
