Donating a silver to a tourney is actually a very simple process. Help Topic 2129 gives all the details.
Basically, you send an email to VP Marketing with a donation request. When you send your email request, please include the following information:
The number of Silvers you would like to donate (limit of one per individual tourney).
The Leagues you would like the tourneys to be held in.
The special occasion you would like celebrated (so we can appropriately advertise and name the tourneys).
If your donation is anonymous or if you can be named.
Timeframe (day of week and time of day) you would like to hold the tourney(s).
How you would like to fund the tourney(s) - through your YEPs account or $$ account.
You may suggest a host for the tourneys; however, the league Admin have the final decision on all tourneys.
If you have no special occasion or if you don't care when the tourneys are hosted, we will allow the Admin of the league to choose a host and schedule the tourneys.
I'm not sure what trouble you were having requesting a Silver tourney, but you're welcome to email me with the details. We request 48 hours notice if you have a specific date in mind.
The reason we ask everyone to go through this process is to help the leagues and members. Once the payment is received, we will add the bonus to the tourney and then everything from this point is automated. The bonus is awarded immediately upon conclusion of the tourney, so there is no chance something is forgotten or feelings hurt. Having the bonus show on the tourney page also helps advertise the tourney!
