Hi all and Happy New Year!
I was hoping that 2008 would be the year of little nit-picking, but maybe not.
Having been a TD and higher, I do have the 'BASIC' understanding of game rules. I do know also that they might have different catches to different people. But, I also thought we were a league of uniformity.
Understandably, a RR cannot advance until the TD posts the wins and losses, then players can advance to the next round.
In a DE the non-winning team posts its loss and then they proceed to the next round.
In a SRR, although similiar to RR, it is different as such, when a non-winning team reports, then pairings advance. Even if the next team you play is not done the name shows. (that would be case where you check reports and see if all teams have a report for corresponding round).
WHY oh WHY do we need to WAIT from round to round in a DE, to continue to the next round???
And as for a SRR for most players here, we know when the next team is ready...
Can we have some clarification on this, as if cuases way too much undue stress on players trying to play a smooth game, and lots of waiting for players that are done and can be finished.
Thank you CHris
