No. The bonus for winners has been reduced as the fees Eliters gets from the tourneys is not enough to justify the bonus as it was.
Issa has changed the bonus system, to pay out to the overall winners in line with what Eliters can afford at current Yeps take from the tourneys.
My idea would remove the subsidy, as people wanting to take part would pay an fee, what would be the same, regardless of how many of the tourneys they wanted to play in. This would be the pot the top 3 overall get.
Each tourney would still have an entry fee, so players are playing for a pot per game.
As an example, players not intending to win the event overall would still be able to join the Backgammon tourney, as long as they have contributed to the overall winner pot, by paying to join the Olympics tourneys.
The way how it is now the Olympics Tourneys are a cash cow for people not wanting to take part overall.
With my idea, while they can still come in an win the Olympics Tourney, the Yeps they gain after the fee to be able to play in them, might change the current situation, so that they are supporting the Event, instead of taking Yeps from the players who have no choice be to enter them all, to stand a chance of winning.
