I just wanted to raise a point which has probably been discussed on numerous occasions.

Sometimes Yahoo makes mistakes like balls going through each other, the white ball spinning off in a totally different direction after contact with another ball etc.
In these situations we just carry on the game which i think is totally fair as there is little that can be done once the shot has been taken.

The more serious point i wanted to bring up is, what do you do when yahoo gives the ball in hand to the wrong person after a foul has taken place? Should we carry on as if nothing has happened or should the player scratch to give the ball back to the rightful player?

Unfortunately this happened to me last during the BOS tourney. My opponent had taken break then followed up by knocking in the white ball before i had even got a shot at the table. Rather than give it to me, Yahoo gave my opponent the ball in hand and the game carried on as if nothing happened and i subsequently lost. Although i can't say I would have won the game if i had been given the ball, i was given less of a chance and feel cheated out of it.

I hope people can see my point that surely it would be fair to scratch and give the BIH back. I've only been in a similar situation once before and i scratched as Id rather lose fairly than win knowing that yahoo had helped me to the win.

Anyone help me on this plzzz??

Thanks

Kevin
