Please read our rules of conduct as this is what makes Eliters different. Many leagues tolerate the vulgar language, we do not.
Mr. K, the rule is that you must be 16 to be a TD in Eliters but we have members much younger than that. The bottom line is that if anyone's children or any family member happen to be watching and they are offended, we are doing something wrong and it needs to be noted. I will deal with it from there.
This is exactly why Elite was founded more than 5 years ago. Many of us were tired of the all the cussing and disrespect toward others. We wanted a league that our children and families could play without the harassment that was so prevalent in the other leagues. We started with about 25 members and have grown to over 34,000 with this very policy. We are still growing and will not compromise our basic principals.
Please understand, we are not attempting to ban anyone’s speech in lobbies. Eliters is not the internet police nor will we ever try. We are asking that, in Eliters, we respect each other and ourselves first. What you can not say in public when respectable people are present, you should not say in Eliters lobbies just because you are hiding behind your ID.
I am proud that Bass made a stand and will be enforcing the very rules that began this awesome league. The TDs are instructed to send screen captures of anything offensive and that will not change. We take our rules and policies seriously, as many that are no longer here will attest. We are not unlike any club in the world that has its rules and policies. If you want to join, you abide by their rules or look for a club that more closely caters to your needs.
