The rule before was that u have to ask both TD's permission to play in more than 1 tourney. Problem was players wasnt asking if they can do that. TD's had right to DQ any player caught doing this. Players started complaining about that rule, so it was changed to what it is now. And once again, players are complaining about it.
There are a lot of players that can play in 2, or 4 t's at a time and keep up w/ play. Why penalize those that can because of those that cant?
Shaun is asking for input on what you think slow play is. He needs answers to that to pass on to all the td's in spades so that slow play rule can be enforced the same way be all TD's. By doing that, the problem can be taking care of. He is listening to y'all, and also asking for your INPUT. SO help him out, let him know how long you think it should take to play a card or to bid. BY having guidelines set, things will get alot better for all that play.
I dont play spades often, but I do know that 30 secs for playing and bidding is enough time. Thats 2 mins for bidding, 2 minutes for each hand for total of 12 minutes of game play if its a 5/500 game. Any play taking over 30 secs is too long for any game.
Shaun I hope this helps. But u know i cant do the 10/15 u said. lol Im not that fast even when playing for fun. lol
