Cribbage (Pogo) Last Update: 2/19/2015

Welcome to Eliters Cribbage Pogo League (CRIBP). Cribbage Pogo supports both individual (1x1) and team play (2x2).

Please be aware that Pogo has a different room for 4 player games therefore you need to ensure you are in the correct room (currently Lily Pad).

Cribbage has a variety of table settings, as follows. All tables should be set as required for type of tourney as follows:

Customize Your Cribbage Game

  • Match Play - Unchecked; in the case of best 2 out of 3 or best 3 out of 5 games; please hit play again instead.
  • Use forfeit timer - Unchecked
  • Game Length - should be set to 61 or 121 points  – see “Tourney Special Rule”
  • Allow Skunks at 91 - Unchecked; except in the case of best 2 out of 3 or best 3 out of 5 games to 121.
  • Allow Double Skunks at 61 - Unchecked

Customize Your Table

  • Allow players to replace computer players after the game starts - Checked
  • Limit players joining this game to certain skills rating - Unchecked
  • Allow players to watch game - Checked
  • Mute all watchers - Unchecked
  • Allow watchers to see player’s hand - Unchecked
  • Match game rated - Checked; unless specified differently in the “Tourney Special Rule”
  • Make table private Checked; with the password being eliters (all in lower case).
  • Use the options the next time I open a new game, Checking recommended.

2x2 – Partners sit opposite each other (unless stated otherwise in “Tourney Special Rules”).

All Tables must be made at the bottom of the Tables List; to keep tables grouped together. This makes it easier on the TDs when checking the tables to see if set right for Tourneys, and monitor the Matches on one screen.

skunk: to win by scoring 121 points when the opponent has not yet reached the last leg of the board, i.e., when the opponent has yet to score 91 points; generally scored as a double game.

Round Points

Points or Scores

  • 61 = One Game; the first Player to win 1 Game to 61 points advances
  • 121 = One Game; the first Player to win 1 Game to 121 points advances

The letter w will be used to specify the Number of Games to Win to advance; to be followed by the Points or Score to end each Game; examples:

  • 3w61 = 3 out of 5 Games up to 61 Score; the first to win 3 Games to 61 advances
