fiogf49gjkf0d Tourney Pairings is done automatically based on the Players' Seeding when the
Tourney Registration is closed.
Eliters adopts 3 Seeding Styles:
Rating: Seeding of Players will be according to their To-date Cumulative
Rating, the Player with the highest Rating will get the #1 Seed. This option is
valid in all Tourney formats except the Super Robin (SR).
Quarterly (Q, Qtry ): Seeding of Players will be according to their
Current Quarterly Rating, the Player with the highest Rating will get the #1
Seed. This Seeding style allows active players with highest rating to be seeded
at the top.
Random (R, Rdom): Seeding of Players will be decided arbitrarily. This
option is valid in all Tourney formats including the Super Robin (SR). This
style allows more chances for people to play people they normally aren't paired
with when using the other Rating Seeding Styles.
After the Seeding is identified for all Players, Pairings will be done as
follows:
System Select (SS) Partners Tourneys
Teams will be formed first by splitting the Players in 2 equal Groups, and
joining Players according to their seed, the first of each group together, the
second, etc..
Example: In a 16-Player SS Tourney the first group will include Players
Seeded 1 to 8, and the second group will include Players Seeded 9 to 16:
- Team Seed 1 will be composed of Player Seed 1 and Player
Seed 9.
- Team Seed 2 will be composed of Player Seed 2 and Player
Seed 10.
- Team Seed 3 will be composed of Player Seed 3 and Player
Seed 11.

Seed 14.

Round Robin (RR) and Super Robin (SR) Tourneys
Pairings is not important in RR Tourneys, as the size is always 4
Players/Teams, and each Player/Team should play at least one Match with each of
the other Players/Teams.
In SR Tourneys, Pairings table is designed in a way to make sure that no 2
Players/Teams play as opponents in 2 rounds.
Seeding in all RR and SR Tourneys is Random; the idea is to have different
Pairings in every tourney.
