There will be two Player of the Month Categories: League and Eliters.
The elements used for each selection are a combination of tangible and subjective factors. The calculation is fully automated, and no discussion or appeal for the selections will be permitted.
Leagues Player of the Month
One Player of the Month will be nominated for each Active League. If the Top Player in a League does not achieve certain minimum points, the award will be withheld for that month in that League.
A certain player may only be Player of the Month once per year in a given league.
Each League Player of the Month will be awarded a 250 YEPs Bonus.
The Player ID will show on the League Book of Records and announced in the clubs and Monthly Newsletter.
Winners are chosen using elements extracted from that leagues' Stats during the month, based on the following formula:
Total Tourneys played x 1
Total Events Tourneys played x 5
EDS periods played x 10
TOC, Decathlon, Marathon Championships earned x 20
Good Notes by TDs x 10
Bad Notes by TDs x -40
Good Notes by other players x 10 (refer to the Players Notes System)
Bad Notes by other players x -40
Eliters Player of the Month
One Eliter of the Month will be nominated for Eliters.
Each League Player of the Month is eligible to be chosen for the overall honor; however, the winner does not have to be a League Player of the month, as activity in multiple Eliters leagues is a factor.
Each Eliters Player of the Month will be awarded a 1000 YEPs Bonus.
The ID will appear on the Main Page, Hall of Fame and announced in the clubs and Monthly Newsletter. A certain player may only be the Eliter Player of the Month once per year.
Winners are chosen using elements from each league (listed above) in addition to the following Eliters-wide elements during that month:
Olympics Gold Medalist, ELIC Championships x 50
Total Active Days that month x 1
Referrals (Guests and Premium); YEPs Referral Bonus / 10
Player Premium Membership (20 Silver, 40 Gold, 60 Platinum, 80 Diamond) |
