More about mainlake2

Married 37 years is a great accomplishment, do you have any children?

I Have 3 sons, a Teacher, Verizon Technician and an Engineer for Massachusetts Highway. I have 3 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and a 4th grandson due next April.

Tell us about your career history at Eliters.

I have been playing gin with Eliters seen it 1st started. I'm one of the original players, and enjoy the competition. I have played cribbage, but like gin better.

What makes you such a big fan of Gin?

I have played gin for money most of my life, and high stakes at that, but those days are long gone. I'm a pretty good poker player also, and have done that for 40 to 50 years.

40 to 50 years of poker, you must have some big achievements in that time.

My claim to fame is, I won the 1st poker tournament ever held in Atlantic City, December of 1990. I won a 1991 Chrysler Lebaron, and a trip to Paradise Island, Merv Griffins place at the time. I beat 275 players in a 7-card stud tourney. The 1st poker tourney ever held in Atlantic City, I'm the only poker player in the world that can say that, lol

What in your opinion is the best thing about Eliters?

Getting back to Elite, it is very well run and very competitive. I enjoy the players that play, and like the tourney structures, of course I have had a couple of checks sent to me in the mail, which is always nice, lol.

Do you have any last word to our readers?

I will close in saying that when you have played gin with Mainlake2, you know you were in a game, with one of the best. That's why they call me the Main Man, my record speaks for itself. Good luck all, see you at the tables.
