Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I have lived in the same city all my life. My younger sister is my only family, which makes it great at Christmas time when it comes to buying gifts. I am an easy going person that gets along with everyone. I like to laugh and joke around. I never take things too seriously and never worry today about things that will be gone or better tomorrow.
I spend my days working at a staffing agency where I meet all kinds of people looking for work right up to CEOís of billion dollar companies. No day is the same as the one before and it makes everyday interesting.
I am just one of the guys with my friends, I have more fun sitting around watching sports and drinking then I ever will shopping and gossiping.
What other interests or hobbies do you have (other than Eliters of course)?
I love to play card and board games, pool, darts and mini-golf (and yes I play everything the same as I do on Eliters lol). I love being with my friends, going out and enjoying some Captain on Saturday nights dancing to 80s music.
How did you learn about Eliters and when did you join?
I joined in October 2006. I had recently discovered Pogo and was hooked. I was teaching myself how to play spades (I like to pick a new game every few months and learn how to play), and I kept ending up in Wild Blue Yonder mainly because the chat was so entertaining. Kitty got me to sign up. Now I can be found almost everywhere in Eliters. Best thing that ever happened, Thanks Kitty!
How did you pick your Eliters' Name - does it have any special significance?
Well my nickname has always been Spam80 or CanOfSpam; however, those names in Pogo were not available so I took my dogs name, Mr. Wigglesworth (which comes from Mr. Bigglesworth from Austin Powers) and his birthday 03/17. Worked out great as I love to see the spin eliters give on the name everywhere lol.
Tell us something unique or interesting about yourself that we are unlikely to know.
I can play the cello and the saxophone. I also breed African Cichlids (they are fresh water fish). I have several aquariums set up and sell the babies to the local pet stores.
What makes Eliters special?
It really is like a giant family. No matter what game or site you are in, you are always welcomed. You never know who you are going to meet or the conversations you are going to have (and the conversations are always the best part!)
What games do you play? Are there any other games you would like to try?
I am a member of almost every Eliters league. You can find me almost everywhere ready to lose, although I play in mainly Pogo. I am looking for someone to teach me how to play Bridge one day.
What is your absolute favorite game - and who taught you to play?
I donít have one particular favourite game. I open up the Eliters page and look for the next game starting I want to play or for who needs a hero to start.
Do you currently hold any position in Eliters? Is there any particular position you would be interested in?
I am currently AA in BGP. I am pretty content with AA, because it leaves someone above me to take the blame! *hehe* Im sure one day down the road there will be a spot for me as HA.
What is your proudest achievement in life?
My sister, I pretty much raised her from the time that she was born and other then the normal teenage headaches she has turned out to be alright!
What is the most important thing for you in tournament play?
Having fun! Winning and YEPs are a great bonus but if the game and the people are not fun itís not worth it.
If you could offer one suggestion to improve Eliters, what would it be?
More YEPs for Wiggles. I can never have enough! I spend them faster then I can win them!
If you had one wish what would it be?
To win the lottery and throw a GIANT Eliters party!
If you could only use one sentence to describe the way you feel about Eliters, to a prospective new player, what would it be?
The biggest group of crazy and deranged, fun loving people you will ever meet!
What is the most memorable experience that you have had as a TD or a player, online or at a live event?
Wow, so many! Sleepless marathons, ginp bos battles, Winning my first bos, eds, mdc, toc, oly gold medal. Crazy lobby conversations, playing eliters at 3am Saturday nights, and most of all just spending time with my friends here.
What is the funniest thing that has happened to you since joining Eliters?
There have been so many funny conversations, I could sit here all day but if I mention one person, thereís not enough room in the newsletter to mention you all. Just know that you all make me laugh everyday and I love you all.
What is the most embarrassing thing that you have experienced (that you can talk about of course).
It has to be my typing skills while hosting, Anyone one in BGP can tell you that they have mastered the art of reading "wiggles" I spend all day typing so you think I would be able to type the right letters in the right place, but nope! If I start typing correctly now they will never understand what I am saying *note to editor, please insert typos so they can read what I am saying lol*
If you could be one person for a day, who would you be and why?
I love being me! Although being Faith Hill for a day would not be a bad thing!
You are given five minutes to evacuate your house, the kids and pets are safe - which three items would you grab?
The rum, my cell phone (which is my phonebook) and the computer.
How do you pass the time on your drive to and from work?
Usually going over in my head the things I have to do for the day, clients I have to meet and counting down the hours til Eliters time.
Name your three favorite movies:
Interview with The Vampire, Billy Madison, Cool Runnings
Do you have any particular heros?
My best friend is my hero, I met him 8 years ago when I was going through a hard time in life and if it were not for him, it seemed I wasnít going to get through it at the time.
What is your guiltiest pleasure?
Poutine! For those of you that donít know what it is, itís Canadian, french fries with cheese curds on top. Then hot gravy poured all over so the cheese melts. Sooooo good, especially at 3am after the bar.
When I grow up I want to be just like:
Do I have to grow up? I donít want to be like anyone else, just me and happy.
Any last words for our readers?
Donít stress over the little things in life, no matter how hopeless things seem today there is always tomorrow. Keep smiling and be kind to everyone, you never know who somebody is. If you see me in a lobby say hi, I love meeting you all and losing a game or 100 in the process.
