Tell us about your company. Aren't these snacks that people can get anywhere?
I have contracts with many companies, both large and small, to come to their ophphice and set up a display for abut 10 to 20 min during a break time. I sell what I can then leave and come back every 2 weeks about same time - the bags are all 1lb and designed to have about 12 servings - ala 2 weeks worth.
I sell very high quality product at low prices, such as an excellent quality double dipped chocolate peanut 1lb bag for $5.25, because it is bulk packaged.
I am happy to ship to phriends on the internet, but 99% oph what I sell is 'phace to phace'.
How long have you played online?
About seven years.
What is your preferred Play Site? And why?
Yahoo, because it is simple to use and has many games to play in, although I use mostly backgammon.
How did you learn about Eliters? And when did you join?
I knew Issa phrom another site, and he invited me to join.
I played in the phirst Elite match, won it and became the phirst #1 in the standings. My guess is over 3 years ago.
So winning the first ever Eliters match is very cool. Not all of us know alot about how Eliters began. What league was it and how did you happen to be in the first ever match?
Backgammon - when I won - I was #1 and loser was #2 - therephore - was phirst match.
Was it tourneys like we have now or were the games more like the current challenge system?
More like an old Cases ladder match - kinda like challenges, but a #1 must play #2 at least 2 times per week (I think) and not ophpher #3 a match bephore playing #2.
What made you join Eliters in the first place? What then kept you coming back?
I joined because Issa invited me, I stay because I like phriendly competition.
What games do you play?
Backgammon, and I would like to see bridge here.
We do have a Yahoo! Bridge League in which Hot Tourneys are ran, it simply needs more great Eliters to play there and support it.
What in your opinion is the best thing about Eliters?
Phriendly competition in a controlled environment. (ie language, and no cheating)
In your opinion, what makes Eliters different from other Leagues?
Phriendly competition in a controlled environment. (ie language, and no cheating) I know it is the same answer, but it is so true.
Now that we have read through all that in Phil speak, Why are Ph's your thing anyway? Related to your name I'm guessing but how did it start?
Well my real name is Phil and many get so uptight about winning that I decided to try and make it more PHUN - ala ph at every opportunity as in phun_phil --- although my phirst name on the internet backgammon groups was douple_trouble_phil - in that I thought I understand the cube (doubling) and was trouble phor who ever I played --- etc. I have always believed in being polite and phriendly though.
Do you have any last word to our readers?
Yes, I would like to thank Issa, his support team, all the TD's, and all the players phor a good time, and I hope I contribute in my own way.
