More about ChouetteLady

How long have you been playing games online?

4 years

How much time do you spend online a week?

20 to 30 hours

How did you learn about Eliters and when did you join?

April 2001 - - I played a game with bear_music, and he invited me to join.

When did you first become a Staff Member at Eliters?

At the end of April 2001!

Tell us about your career history at Eliters.

I was promoted from TD to TL in the fall of 2001, and Iíve been here ever since!

What is it in your background that prepared you for all this?

Well #1, I grew up in a family that loved to play games Ė hence the hours online playing ! As far as hosting, I have always enjoyed organizing things. I was impressed with Eliters and the values it stood for, and since I wanted to continue seeing tourneys online for people to play, I started hosting.

What skills have you developed that made this possible?

Having a background in computers has helped some. I can answer most questions people have about their computers. I also like working with people and helping them get the most out of their computer investment.

What do you do in your time away from Elite?

I am self-employed as a computer consultant Ė mainly software applications. And I also work as a musician at church and our local theatre. My husband recently retired, so we are also doing a lot of traveling. Iíve already been able to meet several Eliters around the world.

Where is your most favorite place to travel to and why?

Boy, thatís a hard call. We love Europe and Russia because of the history there, and the artistry of past civilizations. But then we are partial to Central and South America because of the remains of the rich Mayan heritage and the cultures of other early civilizations.

What makes Eliters different from the competition?

The main difference is the family atmosphere. I get tired of the rough and rowdy groups you find everywhere online. I also think our tourneys run smoother - - but then Iíve only played a handful of tourneys in other leagues. Why play anywhere else when you have the best here? Also, we have the best administration, constantly upgrading and implementing suggestions from the players. I have always appreciated that.

What would you tell a prospective member who is trying to choose between Eliters and other, similar leagues?

Well, the best advice is try them both and compare. But if they wanna save their time, I just tell them Eliters is far and away the best of the bunch.

Well, that certainly sums it up, any last words for our readers?

Eliters has hundreds of TDs making tourneys daily for you to enjoy. Have fun, and spread the word.
