How long have you played games online?

I have been playing online games for 10 years now.

What is your preferred play site?

I prefer Pogo due to the absence of spam in the lobbies and the rooms seem more personal with fewer players in each. It is easier to get to know your fellow player there.

How did you learn about Eliters and when did you join?

I hate to admit this, but I was a "monkey" for a week or so. It was there that a friend, Eagle6j6, told me about Eliters and we both joined in May 2001.

What made you keep coming back to Eliters?

The helpful TDs and wonderful players that I encounter in each and every Eliters league that I have played in.

What games do you play? And what is your favorite game and why?

I play Dominoes, Gin Rummy, Cribbage, Backgammon and Euchre. During my four and a half years with Eliters my favorite has always changed, but currently it is Dominoes. I like to focus on one game until I have made it into the top 25 or so, then I seem to move on to a new one.

Have you learned any new games since being a part of Eliters?

Yes, I've learned to play Canasta and Pool, both of which are still a challenge to me.

What in your opinion is the best thing about Eliters?

It is a well thought out site with great structure and organization. It's truly amazing how so many tournaments and/or matches can be played simultaneiously and all their statistics stored neatly away for reference as well as a very accurate accounting of all the players YEP balances. It amazes me each time I play here.

What is the most memorable experience that you have had as a TD or a player, online and/or at a Live Event?

The most memorable experience for me would have to be the week in DOP where we played a variation of the game "Clue". For each tourney we played in, we were able to ask one question to narrow down the possible suspects (a TD), weapons, and rooms that a fantasy murder had occurred in. It was a blast!

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you since joining Eliters.

I don't think there is a single "funniest thing" that has happened to me, but hanging out with the TD, Dlovell3, can be pretty hilarious at times. (If you know him, no further explanation is needed).

The most embarrassing thing? That you can talk about of course.

Hmmmm, I can't think of one so I guess there hasn't been one yet, thank goodness!

Who is the one person that you can say has helped you the most here?

There have been so many individuals whom I have learned from in Eliters but if I had to pick just one, I would say Md3harris. He posted some tips in the Giny club one day and by following them (and with some individual lessons from him) I improved my Gin game immensely!

In your opinion, what makes Eliters different from other Leagues?

I think it is Eliters' rules of conduct and their strict enforcement that makes playing in Eliters more enjoyable for all ages.

If you had one wish what would it be?

To be able to play in Eliters for the rest of my life without having to become a TD or spend any more money on yeps.

If you could only use one sentence to describe the way you feel about Eliters, to a prospective new player, what would it be?

If you want a fun place to play games and/or be entertained, Eliters is the place to be!

Any last words for our readers?

More important than a fun and competitive place to play games, Eliters is comprise of very warm and caring people, who I am proud to call my friends.

A few thoughts from Dlovell3

I have known Donna now for approximately 4 1/2 years since she joined Eliters and came into Giny, where I was hosting at the time. We joked around, hit it off and as you would say, just clicked. Since then she became my tag team partner. One thing I have always done, and continue to do wherever I am hosting, is when she comes into the lobby I sing for her -- the song "Oh Donna", which she knows is just for her.

She loves to scrapbook, something that I am not sure you know about her, and most importantly, she is reliable, a person that listens to you and she really cares. I am happy to have her as a friend.
