Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I just turned 33, I have 2 boys they are 8 and 11, my 8 yr old is autistic and my 11 yr old is ADHD with autistic tendencies. I am a Christian, I went to private Christian schools all my life. I played volleyball and basketball all through school and was also state champion in theater (dramatic monologue) and placed 4th in nationals my Junior Year. Then went to college, of course a Christian college....Wayland Baptist University to become a teacher.

What do you like to do away from the computer?

It is very relaxing, although my modem fried and it took them almost 2 months to figure out I just needed a new one! So needless to say I am so very ready to play some games and I don't like playing through anywhere but Elite.

How did you learn about Eliters and when did you join?

When Yahoo had ladders, people started hacking names of those of us who had high ranks to get our rank number, so a friend of mine, Tom/tebaize told me about Eliters. I started in Eliters Cribbage but got hooked on the Dominoes, which is where I have been a player, Admin and TD since I joined.

How did you pick your Eliters' Name? Is this your one and only?

I already had this name in Yahoo!

What is your preferred play site? and Why?

Yahoo!, because that is where I started playing online games. I was addicted to Cribbage and probably have played well over 5,000 crib games. I like the layout, but had it not been for Elite I would have stopped playing because of the way some Yahoo! players act, like the FF and sometimes the lobby gets bad, but we just put those on ignore.

What made you keep coming back to Eliters?

The rules. Issa has a good grasp on what it takes to turn a good business and how people should be treated. If you do wrong you are informed and warned about it. If you are in the right, Eliters has your back ... no other League that I know of does that. It offers a sort of protection to us as players and definitely as staff members.

How long have you played games online?

About 10 years .... speaking of which I watched a sitcom called "Yes, Dear" and a character named Jimmy asked his sister-in-law Kim if he could use her laptop to play solitaire. She told him there was a deck of cards in the drawer, and he replied, "What do you think I am....a savage?" LOL. I think that is how I feel about playing card games offline now :)

What games do you play? And what is your favorite game and why?

I play Euchre, Dominoes, Spades and Cribbage. Right now my favorite game is Euchre, but that is mostly because Dominoes just doesn't have enough players to run tourneys all the time like we used to, that is why I want to find time to start recruiting again.

Have you learned any new games since being a part of Eliters?

Euchre, many have tried to teach me Gin, but I just never got it.

When did you become a TD, and what made you decide to do so?

I believe in June of 2001, or that is what my profile says anyways. I just know it has been a long time. I wanted to be a TD because I wanted more Tourneys and to get more players. I just felt if other players could see what I saw in Eliters, they would be life long members too.

What positions have you held in Eliters and is there anything that you haven't done that you would like to do in the future?

I have been from a TD to an AA. I would like to do more, but time at home does not permit me to devote as much time as I used to. I would love to get back into recruiting, that is my favorite part about Eliters ... going to all the Yahoo rooms and trying to get players for Tourneys.

Who is the one person that you can say has helped you the most here?

That is so hard to say, there have been so many...Jodi/cardchic and Tom/tebaize really helped me out when I was new, then Jerry/francoranch was there for me like a brother for a long time, therock_78202, bamsladybug, flawed_pur_fection, aluv, and pmroadrunner have always been there for me as players, they are just wonderful people. I guess if I had to pick just one though it would be bear_music, when he was in admin. He lit into me many times for things, but he also taught me to let things roll off my back, to treat people right and not to worry about trouble makers. You can get emotional in this league, and he taught me to not take things so seriously, I am a better person and have a better time now because of him.

In your opinion, what makes Eliters different from other leagues?

The management. Eliters is run very smoothly. I was worried when we went to buying memberships, but it turned out to be a good thing. I know not everyone can afford even the ten dollars but I have seen many Eliters including myself who have bought memberships for other players, its like a family here.

What in your opinion is the best thing about Eliters?

The way it is run. Like I said before, Issa knows what he is doing, and it makes for the best league on the net.

If you had one wish what would it be?

I wish all the Leagues would have full dockets and flourish at all times.

If you could only use one sentence to describe the way you feel about Eliters, to a prospective new player, what would it be?

If you want to play games where players are held accountable for their actions and can't force forfeits on you and you can move up a ladder in an honest way, then Eliters is for you.

What is the most memorable experience that you have had as a TD or a player, online or at a live event.

When I finally beat 3 top players including Balouza in an RR cash tourney in Dominoes. LOL

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you since joining Eliters.

Jerry/Francoranch and I got this idea to start spamming "Join Eliters" in Spanish, so we went to a website and had our spams auto-translated. Chicana happened to see it and told me that it made absolutely no sense at all because of course you can't just translate word for word, so my spam must have looked like I didn't even have a 4th grade education lol...but she didn't give me a hard time about it and made me a translation that made sense.

The most embarrassing thing, that you can talk about of course.

That would have to be when I dq'ed a player for playing too slow and then found out that he was a person with a disability and was doing the best he could. Its not a funny story but it taught me a lesson to make sure you know why someone is slow and not assume that it is because they are playing in more than one tourney.

If you could be one person for a day, who would you be and why?

I would be my 8 yr old son, Josh. I want so much to know and understand what is going on in his mind.....autism is such a mystery, and I would give all I had to know what he is thinking. I also don't think it would be a bad experience, I can see in his eyes the wonder and amazement of everything he beholds, and I think it would be an awesome experience!!!!

You are stranded on a deserted island, no internet, no phone, no TV, walking along the beach, you come across...

This one is easy because it is my biggest fear......walking along the beach.....wading in the shallow water, whatever.....I would only be afraid of SHARKS!!!! LOL I only took showers, not baths until I was about 20 yrs old because I feared sharks in the tub haha......and to this day I won't swim in the ocean, lakes, ponds or even a large swimming pool....HUGE ........HUGE FEAR!!!!! I know you laugh as you read this but we all have our fears and sharks are mine.

How do you pass the time on your drive to and from work?

Listening to country music of course....I AM a Texas gal!!!!

When I grow up I want to be just like:

me, after all I am grown up and if I wanted to be someone else they might put me away LOL!!!!!!!!!

Any last words for our readers?

I still see a lot of the same debates going on in the clubs about the way some things run. Eliters has been here for several years now, and I would just want to remind people that the way things run is that way because Eliters went through many trials and errors, and it is without a doubt the best league to play in. Don't take things too seriously, have fun and treat each other with kindness. Lastly: "Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching" ~ quote thought to be from Satchel Paige, the greatest baseball legend of all time ~
