Tell us a little bit about yourself.
34 years old female, with a 15 yr old daughter I was born in Banbury, England and moved to the USA when I was six weeks old and moved back to the UK when I was 16 years old and have been here ever since par a year here and there.
Jan 05 I had gastric bypass RNY for weight loss and it all went wrong and I have been ill ever since. I suffer from chronic pain and chronic fatigue. I have lost 178 lbs but unfortunately it wasnít worth it with my problems now.
I stay positive with the help of my family and my online friends which include many of the members of Eliters.
What do you like to do away from the computer?
I like spending time with my daughter and my dog Bo Peep. I also enjoy cooking and watching movies.
How did you learn about Eliters and when did you join?
I was a member of Elite with MyLeagues and joined Eliters when Issa (Balouza) created a new website and have been with them since the beginning.
How did you pick your Eliters' Name? Is this your one and only?
I have been known by a few names within Eliters for varies reasons. My original id was Rachel00007, Racheliscrazy, oxfordlady2002, rachelukcrazy and now rachelukcraz. The changes really changed when I couldnít get memberships to Pogo and Game Desire and finally with rachelukcraz with all 3 sites.
What is your preferred play site? And Why?
I like Pogo the best as I find that itís more user friendly then the others but I play in all three.
What made you keep coming back to Eliters?
The people and the regular tourneys and the standard rules.
How long have you played games online?
Since 1997 when I started my university degree.
You stated that you started playing online games in 1997 when you were working on your university degree. How did you discover games online?
I was wasting some time one day and I went to play backgammon and just happened to enter into Lions Lair. An Eliters tourney was going on, and I just decided to check it out. I also was referred to it by another player by the name of crooko61.
What is your degree in?
My degree is in Combined Studies - The individual within Society and I started a second degree in Social work and Management but that is on hold due to my illness.
What games do you play? And what is your favorite game and why?
All games with the exception of Euchre and Pinochle (donít know how to play them) my favorite is Backgammon, Spades and Dominoes.
Have you learned any new games since being a part of Eliters?
Yes, all games I have learned virtually every game I play by joining tourneys and just playing.
What positions have you held in Eliters and are there anything that you haven't done that you would like to do in the future?
I have been a SRTD with Backgammon but due to illness I stepped down but in future I will probably enquire about being a SFTD. I have also been an HA with Leaga but gave it up when I got sick.
Who is the one person that you can say has helped you the most here?
Lisaleasah and Balouza. They both have put up a lot with me especially when I was at my lowest and sickest. They both are wonderful dedicated people and I would say that their dedication and enthusiasm has inspired me and made me feel part of the big Eliters family.
In your opinion, what makes Eliters different from other leagues?
The dedication and enthusiasm of the senior management.
What in your opinion is the best thing about Eliters?
The fairness with rules and variety of games.
If you had one wish what would it be?
To have more players joining the early morning tourneys as I am in the UK and sometimes it is hard to get a tourney at 4am Eliterís time.
If you could only use one sentence to describe the way you feel about Eliters, to a prospective new player, what would it be?
I would recommend anyone wanting to join a fun and varied games online league.
What is the most memorable experience that you have had as a TD or a player, online or at a live event?
When I beat Zoocuim in the TOC one time. He is the best player I have ever known on Backgammon, and it was an honor to play him. It was a fantastic game and I won! Mind you I never beat him after that!
What is the funniest thing that has happened to you since joining Eliters? The most embarrassing thing that you can talk about of course.
When I first became a TD and I couldnít get spamming the lobby and I use to spam loads and nobody could read it.
If you could be one person for a day, who would you be and why?
I would be my daughter so that I could see how I really am! Hehehe
You are stranded on a deserted island, no internet, no phone, no TV, walking along the beach, you come across...
Öa chest with a satellite phone and laptop to log on and keep in touch! Hehehe
How do you pass the time on your drive to and from work?
I donít work due to my illness and am not expected to return in the near future.
What is your favorite book/author?
Bibliographies, I love true stories and reading about others.
What is your all time favorite bibliography that you would recommend to our readers?
Don't Tell Mummy: A True Story of the Ultimate Betrayal by Toni Maguire.
What is your guiltiest pleasure?
Salt and Balsamic Vinegar Kettle Chips.

What qualities describe your father that you aspire to?
Hard work, perseverance, and structured - his abilities to accomplish the impossible. He retired at 50 as a vice president of a bank and now takes care of my stepmother who has the later stages of MS and my 89 year old grandmother and he hasnít let that stop him making goals and achieving them.
