Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Old guy! 2 kids, 1 in college. Own an old house. Love sports (Gooooo Red Sox and Pats!) and spend an enormous amount of time online both at home and at work.

What do you like to do away from the computer?

Work mostly outside when the weather permits. Like to drive up north into Maine and NH. I travel for work now and then and take time to see the sites wherever I go. Big sports nut, but now just watching live or on TV.

How did you learn about Eliters and when did you join?

I actually was a TD Manager in a small private league that was headed downhill. One of our members told me about Eliters and I've been hooked ever since.

How did you pick your Eliter's name? Is this your one and only?

This is an ID I have had for many years. Not my only ID, but is the one I am always online with.

What is your preferred play site? and Why?

Yahoo - always been on Yahoo since I was in other leagues.

What made you keep coming back to Eliters?

People and friendship. Many of the people have moved on, but you continually make new friends.

How long have you played games online?

Not sure...easily 10 years or so.

What games do you play? And what is your favorite game and why?

Too many to mention but my favorite is cribbage. I have played both crib and gammon since high school

Have you learned any new games since being a part of Eliters?

Canasta, Spades, Gin, Lit and a few others

What positions have you held in Eliters and is there anything that you haven't done that you would like to do in the future?

Started as a TD here and am HA in BGY now as well as recently joining the SFTD team. And yes, maybe, but don't know what that would be right now.

Who is the one person that you can say has helped you the most here.

Flossy was the first person I got to know in Eliters and has helped me a lot along the way. Lisa too and still does more than I'd like to admit.

In your opinion, what makes Eliters different from other leagues?

You can ask for improvements and if they are reasonable they get inmplemented so quick. Other leagues are just in it for the money and mostly do not care about the players. Plus a couple other leagues are also ego-driven.

What in your opinion is the best thing about Eliters?

The variety of leagues in different playsites.

If you had one wish what would it be?

More players and more TDs

If you could only use one sentence to describe the way you feel about Eliters, to a prospective new player, what would it be?

You'll not have a better experience anywhere than you will in Eliters.

What is the most memorable experience that you have had as a TD or a player, online or at a live event.

The amount of dedicated players we had a couple years ago.

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you since joining Eliters.

In the early days of being HA, I got so busy one night I started a tourney 7 minutes early. Only one who noticed was Dan (who has since passed) and never let me forget it either. Course I wonder if Issa changed the system because of me. LOL

What is the most embarrassing thing (that you can talk about of course).

Ever IM the wrong person before? yeah, I IM'd someone I was talking to another about. Talk about fancy footwork!!

If you could be one person for a day, who would you be and why?

David Ortiz - love to hit the way he does

You are stranded on a deserted island, no internet, no phone, no TV, walking along the beach, you come across...

a naked lady. LOL

How do you pass the time on your drive to and from work?

Listening to music

What is your favorite book/author?

Anything by Stephen King.

What's your guiltiest pleasure?

Fried Clams!

When I grow up I want to be just like

Why grow up?

Any last words for our readers?

Come play Backgammon and maybe you'll like it and become a TD. If you don't know the game, don't be afraid....just ask! I have spent many times teaching the basics including the dreaded cube. It's all in fun and IS fun. That's why THIS game has lasted thousands of years.
