Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am in my late 30s...have two beautiful daughters, very addicted to computers and internet, enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. Christian that is very active in church. Workaholic.
What do you like to do away from the computer?
cycling - especially MS 150 and casual 50+ mile rides with friends, yard work, recently discovered WII, lol
What is your preferred playsite and why?
Yahoo...i dunno....lots of people. The graphics are awesome on both GD and Pogo, just not enough activity in the games I like there.
What made you keep coming back to Eliters?
The beautiful and loving PITA ladies of PinoY, then meeting wonderful folks like the great TDs and players in CribY.
How long have you played games online?
Overall 7 or 8 years off and on.
What games do you play? And what is your favorite game and why?
Cribbage, Canasta, Pinochle, BowlP, Gin, Spades, Backgammon - Cribbage and Canasta have to be my favorites, although I like most of the ones I play pretty well.
Have you learned any new games since being a part of Eliters?
Gin...not much on trying to learn any others.
What positions have you held in Eliters and is there anything that you haven't done that
JrTD, TD and SrTD in BowlP; SrTD in Snookd; TD, SrTD, AGL, GL, TGL in CribY (currently TGL); and most recently applied/accepted Promotions Director (Eliters Staff). Used to have a very dear friend that passed on that said "the day you stop learning is the day you die" ...that is my answer to what I haven't done. If I can grow and help Eliters grow, even by being the sole player, HA, AA, GL, DPA, TGL, and SRTD in Naval Command, I will do it!
Who is the one person that you can say has helped you the most here.
Oh my....there are lots...three most influential that have helped me grow with Eliters though would have to be (in chronological order) JTRuss, Purcelin, and (wow it hurts to say this, lol) Lisa!
In your opinion, what makes Eliters different from other leagues?
There are other leagues? Really?
What in your opinion is the best thing about Eliters?
The people..the players, the TDs, the Admins, and Staff.
If you had one wish what would it be?
Eliters would have 75,000 members that all had 100,000+ yeps that would get in every tourney in all play sites and leagues and all would be happy!!
If you could only use one sentence to describe the way you feel about Eliters, to a prospective new player, what would it be?
The most exciting way to play games, meet people, enjoy yourself, create friends for life, have fun, learn new games, post messages, pick on Purce, harrass Lisa, run from Steve, tell Perfect you love him, earn YEPS, win YEPS, learn new languages, play gold box, buy raffle tickets, and do interviews for the newsletter, it's all here at www.eliters.com.
What is the most memorable experience that you have had as a TD or a player, online or at a live event?
Well...the recent naming of TD of the month. I was checking my YEPS, saw I had an extra few...went to look and saw TD of the Month bonus....sent a message to Purce asking if someone made a mistake, lol
What is the funniest thing that has happened to you since joining Eliters?
Hmmmm maybe most people thinking I am a girl cause my profile says "my name is tina wona chat."
What is the most embarrassing thing (that you can talk about of course)?
Not sure I have been embarrassed in Eliters...I have too much fun, don't think much about being embarrassed...but I guess as all of us have done - been playing in two different games and posting gg and such in the wrong lobby, or mess up on a gimmick game.
If you could be one person for a day, who would you be and why?
Don't know that I would want to be anyone else as far as their individualism, but I would like to have experiences that others have had, such as a political leader, and I like to imagine what it would have been like to spend time with Jesus Christ when he was in the flesh.
You are stranded on a deserted island, no internet, no phone, no TV, walking along the beach, you come across...
A new house fully stocked with enough imperative items to last for 15-20 years with my family already there inviting me to come inside and relax.
How do you pass the time on your drive to and from work?
Sighhh....ummm in my position, my cell phone is glued to my ear most days from 7 a.m. to about 9:30 p.m. Some days I don't even realize I have driven to work, I just show up at the office with phone and coffee in hand.
What is your favorite book/author?
Well - me and my book of course (well at least when I finish it) - named Silver Keys to Paradise, look for it to be hitting shelves in 2016.
What's your guiltiest pleasure?
Probably being mischievous.
When I grow up I want to be just like:
My dad? He has earned a lot of respect in family, business, and church. Wait, do I have to grow up?
Any last words for our readers?
Just hope that everyone will give me a chance to get to know them sometime or another and that maybe I can be a positive influence for someone in my life through meeting you either through a computer, or maybe in person some day. Oh yeah ELITERS rock!!!!!!!!
