Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I’m one of eight kids (6 boys and 2 girls) and the 4th oldest. I have 14 nieces and nephews, with 2 more on the way in 2008. In December 2008, I will become a Great Uncle. Right now I live with one of my brothers, and we live with and take care of my Dad who’s 81 and has his share of medical problems. My mom is deceased 5 years now.

I work for a company that teaches companies how to recover from a computer-related disaster (hardware failure, fire, flood, hurricane, sabotage, etc.). I develop disaster recovery plans using our proprietary software, and I train clients on how to use our software.

What other interests or hobbies do you have (other than Eliters of course)?

Digital photography, bowling, baseball, NASCAR, cooking, entertaining my nieces and nephews.

How did you learn about Eliters and when did you join?

Well one day back in 2004, I was having a rough day playing Yahoo Pino games in BL2 (getting booted, getting Yahoo’d, stallers, etc.). So I “vented” my frustrations in the lobby. And then Heavenangelpinochle told me about Eliters in the lobby and invited me to join (several times). So I finally joined. Smart move. Thank you Heaven!!

How did you pick your Eliters' Name - does it have any special significance?

Well I always loved the Get Smart TV series from the 1970’s. So choosing my Yahoo name was easy, and when I joined Eliters, I kept the same name. Get Smart was about a secret agent (Agent 86 played by Don Adams) who worked for CONTROL, and that firm was always fighting the forces of evil (known as KAOS). KAOS was always trying to find ways to eliminate CONTROL’s top spy, Maxwell Smart.

What is your preferred playsite and why?

Yahoo, only because I was raised on Pino. Pogo is great too and so is GameDesire (a site I want to get to know better).

What makes Eliters special?

The people. The players, TDs, the folks working behind the scene to keep the Eliters machine running smoothly

What games do you play? Are there any other games you would like to try?

I mainly play Pino, but have also played Gin, Canasta, and Qwerty. Someday I’d like to learn the rest.

What is your absolute favorite game - and who taught you to play?

I’d have to say Pinochle. My dad taught me years ago.

9. Do you currently hold any position in Eliters? Is there any particular position you might be interested in?

I’m currently AA1 Pinoy

What is your proudest achievement in life?

I would have to say getting my degree while working full-time at a company with which I have been for 21 years on July 1, 2008.

What is the most important thing for you in tournament play?

To have funnnnnn! I love to make jokes at the table (at the peeps hoarding all the meld or all the aces, etc.).

12. If you could offer one suggestion to improve Eliters, what would it be?

None come to mind. Eliters is a fabulous league in many respects. Just when you think there isn’t anything else they could do to improve Eliters, they improve it!! Improvements not just on the player side (I think the Badge promotion was a great idea!), but also on the TD side.

If you had one wish what would it be?

To eliminate all Bots. They are pesky, pesky, pesky! Right now, CardCounter is on the top of the list. Last weekend, CardCounter came into the lobby and I executed a brand new spam that I made just for CardCounter (in the shape of a hand grenade). But the ensuing blast knocked me into cyberspace and banned me from the lobby for a day. CardCounter remains at large, and at the top of my list to eliminate.

If you could only use one sentence to describe the way you feel about Eliters, to a prospective new player, what would it be?

Eliters is a phenomenal game site where you can meet wonderful, caring people while playing your favorite games, without all the hassles such as cheaters, stallers, etc.

What is the most memorable experience that you have had as a TD or a player, online or at a live event?

When Lesfish and I partnered for the BOS and won. We lost all control in BL2 for about an hour or two afterwards. We had such a celebration! You’d have thought we just won the lottery or something lol!

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you since joining Eliters?

Hmm…one thing comes immediately to mind because I think about it from time to time. One day before I became TD, we had a TD by the name of Flitting_k. At that time, we also had a player by the name of Moon. Well, Flit was hosting and Moon was a little slow getting his table up. So Flit wrote in lobby: Moon Your Table. And she used ALL CAPS! The words were BIG! I read it and laughed so hard. Then I had to give Flit a hard time about it in the lobby. After that, whenever I saw Flit in the lobby, I would sometimes remind her of that Hilarious Eliters Moment.

What is the most embarrassing thing that you have experienced (that you can talk about of course).

You would ask this question. Ok…the most embarrassing thing that happened to me was getting banned 3 times in one night while hosting. It was unbelievable. Other TDs were getting banned and I thought “nahhh I won’t get banned…my Spams are only 3 or 4 lines and nothing fancy.” What a night!! I was shocked!

If you could be one person for a day, who would you be and why?

NASCAR driver Carl Edwards. I’d love to race his car to victory lane and then do backflips in celebration

You are given five minutes to evacuate your house, the kids and pets are safe - which three items would you grab?

My computer, cell phone, and camera

How do you pass the time on your drive to and from work?

Listen to the radio.

Name your three favorite movies:

Beverly Hills Cop I and II, the Bourne movies, and I love disaster flicks.

Which celebrity would you like to banish to rehab permanently?

Britney Spears

When I grow up I want to be just like:

Don Adams

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Any last words for our readers?

Sure! Avoid walking towards closing doors (anyone who’s watched Get Smart knows what I mean). LOL!
