New... Eliters Division System!

We are pleased to announce a brand new style of play for selected Single Player Leagues, called Eliters Division System. This new system will feature longer format, skill based games. The featured leagues for the beginning phase of EDS are BGY, CRIBY, DOY, GINY, and POOLY.

This new format will consist two of 13 day periods per month in which players will be divided into Divisions of 10 Players. Within each division, players play the 9 other players in their Division; they earn 3 points for each Win and 1 point for each Loss. A player gains nothing for matches not played.

At the end of each period, the top three point earners in each Division move up a Division, and the three lowest move down a Division. The top three finishers in the highest Division earn a Star in their profile.

Each 13 day period has a 250 YEPs Entry Fee, with payouts going to the top three finishers in each Division. Payouts begin at 600, 300, and 200 YEPs but can be increased by a bonus that will be awarded to all participants based on points earned.

Registration begins this December 2003 for the first period to be held in January 2004. We hope you are looking forward to this fun new addition to Eliters as much as we are.
