Prayers Please

Our friend agent86_04 posted this on June 18th - please keep Max and his family in your thoughts and prayers:

Eliters, this is a request for prayers for my Dad (Joe). He has been in and out of the hospital and several nursing homes for over a year now, battling health issues. Since January, he has been on hospice care. On Friday, May 27, his health started to decline quickly. Since then, he has had some days where it looked like he was ready to bounce back, only to decline again. He has not been able to feed himself except to drink liquids.

On Sunday, one of my brothers, one of my sisters and I, and six of his grandchildren visited him for several hours. I fed him his lunch, but he was only able to eat a few very small forkfuls. He was off the oxygen mask (which he has been on for some time) and was on the breathing tube. He recognized us all and even conversed with us in brief moments, but was not awake much.

Yesterday (Monday), he did not have a good day and he was not eating. His doctor stopped all medication except to address his pain and discomfort. His doctor thinks my Dad has only a few days left to live.

Please keep him in your prayers. Thank you.

On another sad note kimnd470 asked for prayers for 6 month old baby Natalia - her bosses grandniece who was on life support with bleeding from the brain - a terrible thing for anyone to experience much less a little one that small.  Natalia has been taken off the ventilator but will still need a lot of support and small miracles in her life.

Our condolences are extended to adesawaya1 who lost a family member to the ravages of diabetes.  Please keep Jen and her son Dylan in your hearts.  Read Jen's Club Posting for further details.

Another sad loss for knowillusion2009 (Canay HA) on the passing of her grandmother earlier in June - Tara's message to Eliters.  May the family be comforted with her memories.

Our friend wonagametwice is struggling with some health issues - hopefully his vacation time at the beach coupled with lots of exercise will help him get his blood pressure and health back in control.
