Two YEPs worth
For those of us who live in the Western World, this is a special time of the year - filled with childhood and family memories, celebrations with family and friends and whether or are of any religious persuasion or not, a slightly kinder, gentler time.
Of course, it is also a time of crass commercialization with every single store trying to convince you that your life would be oh so much better with this one more purchase. And nowadays, you are even subject to this barrage while sitting comfortably in your jammies at your computer.
It really isn't what you wrap up and give that matters.
It matters far more that you remember each other with kindness and affection.
It matters that you share whatever you can with whomever you can.
Remember there are many people who are alone or far from family and friends. There was a little more room at the inn so many years ago - make a little room in your life for others.
Wishing you all a healthy, happy and safe holiday season. Thank you for enriching my life with your friendship and a special thank you to each and every hard working TD who takes time out of a busy life to provide us with a great time in the lobbies.
