Eliters Messenger successful implementation
In the first month where the use of Eliters Messenger has been required, the Staff and Players of Eliters have shown the tremendous quality of Eliters as whole. The transition has been smooth and well taken by all. Thank you all for such an easy transition to using this great tool.
We have now fully updated the Rules and various related Help Topics:
1901 - Code of Conduct
1912 - List of Violations
2102 - Time Out - General Rules 1
2103 - Time Out - General Rules 2
2109 - Slow Play
2117 - Eliters Messenger
2331 - Multiple-day Tournaments (Week)
One particular area to note is in 2331 - Multiple Day Tournaments (Week), where we have allowed for the use of Eliters Messenger to be taken as proof by the TD of opponents attempts to arrange matches. TDs can now look at all available evidence, and make decisions based on that.
Another area of interest, relates to 2102 – Time Out General Rules 1. We have given in here more detailed description of how timers should be applied, and have added that The TD does not need to confirm the start of the Clock, except for tourney start timers, and if the TD notices the need for timers. Of course the TDs will still be checking the legitimacy of the timer request, but we see no general need to confirm the timer in Eliters Messenger.
