Spirit of Games
The spirit of this league is founded on friendly, competitive fun. Today in a GinP tourney, I want to share with you all exactly how that was demonstrated.
While fumbling with my contacts, I was not able to see very clearly and inadvertently laid down the wrong card. I verbalized my frustration at the table over my own error and my opponent did the most honorable thing I've ever witnessed in any league I've ever played in.
The opponent picked up the card I laid down in error, discarded another card and then on his next turn he laid back down the card for me to pick back up. I was stunned.
This act of selflessness is fundamental to what Eliters stands for and also shows the character of this player. Did I win the game? No. Did it really matter? No. The spirit of the game was upheld by that one act. The player you ask? wjmunk1.
Munk you have my utmost respect and truely are an example of Eliters and what it stands for!! Kudos to Munk and I'm honored you are an active member of GinP.
Sincerely,
Erin (e911callagain)
