A Christmas Wish Comes True Early

I cannot thank everyone here for their support while my son was missing. It is a parents' worse nightmare. But I was one of the lucky ones. My son has called me and has told me he is okay.

He had moved out from our home in early September and thought that he could just disappear without saying a word and not be missed. Needless to say he didn't realize what the family had gone through not knowing if he was dead or alive. My life was turned upside down and it was hard for me to stay focused on anything except trying to find him.

I jumped every time the phone would ring or the doorbell rang. There was a Canada wide search out for him. The thing that kept me goin was knowing that so many of you here were praying for his safe return. I feel so blessed to have so many friends here.

I think runaway0509 had an excellent idea to have a page of some kind for this very purpose. I would be the first one to help support this in any way. Knowing that some parents are not as fortunate as I was to have my son contact me, I can truely know the horror and pain they are going through.

So for all you young ELITERS here, please don't think your all grown up and that your too old to let your parents know if you are going to go away for awhile. My son now realizes that he should of called me to let me know what was going on with him.

He did have some personal problems to deal with and I can understand that he needed the time to get his life back on track, but he also realizes that a phone call from him telling us his plans should of been made to us, so we wouldn't have been so upset of his disappearance. The way he vanished was too much for me to cope with. It was so unlike him.

When you go from a call a day to nothing for over a month, your imigination can run wild. But I am very thankful that he finally did pick up the phone and call.

To everyone here may GOD BLESS YOU and keep your family safe.
