Table Making

Eliters recently reviewed the Table Making Policy, including when players may ask for a timer.

1. Making the Timer Requests consistent in all Leagues; thus eliminating confusion for Players in all Gaming Sites served by Eliters.

The Table Making Help Topic 2108 now states:
Tables must be made before a timer is requested. In the case that neither team makes table, TD may put both teams on timer, warn both teams/players of imminent disqualification based on the intentional delay rule.
2. Making the Tables Setting consistent in all Leagues in the same Gaming Site; thus eliminating confusion for Players moving from one Game to another in the same Gaming Site.

The Tourney General Rules Help Topic 2101 now states:
Tourney tables must be “Protected” in Yahoo! Leagues. Private tables are not permitted in Eliters Yahoo! Leagues unless agreed by the TD; this is so the TD can provide support if necessary. Failure to change status from "private" to "protected" when requested by the TD will result in disqualification of the table host. If another player is harassing a table, the TD may permit it to be made private and will remain at the table to monitor the match.

In Pogo Leagues, all tables should be made "Private", with the PW "eliters".

In GameDesire Leagues, tables shall be made Public, but should anyone other than your opponent sit to play, then they should be booted after asking them to leave.
This is not a Rule; it is a recommended action or guidance to simplify all Players life and to make sure the same PW is used in all Games in order not to have to announce the PW with every Tourney.  In Yahoo, the situation is different, it is not possible to make Tables Private as the TD will not be able to visit the Table unless invited by the host, also keeping it Public is dangerous in case of booted Players; anyone can replace them and finish the game in their place. Therefore the Table Must be "Protected".
