EDS/ELIC Rules Changes

Help Topics 2632 and 2634 were updated to clarify the wording related to Players' Vacation Status in EDS play

Players who are unable to play any matches during a period may go on "Vacation" status by posting a message in the EM on the division page.  They will be exempt from any Win Claims, provided no matches were played and the message is posted within the first 5 days of the period.   It is also recommended that the player changes their availability to "Null".   If the player cannot post a message in EM prior to their departure, they must email the DPA and the DPA will post the message.

Help Topic 2634 and 2511 were updated to clarify Availability Posts in EDS and ELIC play.

  • (EDS) You must have made at least 3 Playing Time Span Suggestions, with a minimum of 2 full hours each. Example: Mon, Tue, and Wed between 17:00 and 21:00.  Please make every effort to offer a time within the posted availability for your opponent.
  • (ELIC) Please keep in mind when you choose to represent a country other than the one you live in, that you should be available to play during that country's time zone.

Please read the full Help Topics for more information.
