No Limit Holdem Pogo (Holdemp) has been using a format abbreviated H2H, which stands for Head 2 Head. However, many members were concerned that this format is not truly head-to-head, since bots are used at the table. We have changed the format to 2-Player (abbrev: 2PLR). Now it's a closer reflection of the true format.
This format is used for Weeklongs, EDS, half of our marathon schedule (will now allow 2 players to qualify for MDC, instead of just 1), and period tournaments throughout the week.
Holdemp also has a new timer rule.
If a player goes all in, loses the hand, and leaves the table, only for the players to realize they still have chips left, the TD will be putting this player on timer. This player will have 2 minutes to return to the table, or they will forfeit their match/chips/possible winnings. IF, in the event, a player comes back after timing out, they will be DQ'd from the table, and their chips will no longer count. They will be considered a robot player, with no bearing on the outcome of the match.
If anyone has a question, please feel free to contact any of the league TDs or Admin.
