Battle of the Leagues: BG Pogo vs Yahoo

On May 18th, Pogo and Yahoo Backgammon leagues will hold a Battle of the Backgammon Leagues event.  The player who wins the final will win the bragging rights for their league.  The winning league will win the right to host the finals the following month.

BG Pogo (BGP) and Yahoo (BGY) leagues will each host a primary tourney consisting of 2pt Matches (Random seeding).  All members are invited to compete.

The Winner and Runnerup of each league tourney will advance to the Finals, to be played in 3pt rounds (Rated seeding).  The highest seed will choose the style of the game to be played.

The first primary tourneys will be held on Monday, May 18th at 00:00, and will be hosted by rjmacd3usmc in Pogo and muddddd1 in Yahoo.    Registration will be opened 72 hours before the first tourney starts.

The finals tourney will be held in Yahoo following the completion of the primary tourneys in each league.

Tourney times and TDs will vary from month to month to make it possible for all players to take part when they can.

Players must be registered to play in both leagues, with identical player IDs that match their Eliters ID.
